Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't trained to utilize the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety measures.
Rather than going through training because staff are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help workers understand the importance of proper training. Let them know that they could kill or injure not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your employees undertake training seriously.
