Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in warehouse and shipping operations. Also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to move products and supplies around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which could raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To prevent loosing control while raising heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated carefully. Equipment must be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle could turn smoothly. The pallet should be stacked carefully in order to guarantee that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop to be able to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be in the middle to be able to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you since the thrust can cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Slowly come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
