Narrow Aisle Forklifts
Narrow aisle forklifts are specifically designed in order to fit down extremely narrow warehouse aisles. This offers several advantages to business owners such as greatly increasing their space to keep items. Even smaller aisles can fit a lift truck through them. Narrow aisle forklifts are famous for their maneuverability and not much space is required to move a narrow aisle forklift. Their design has enabled them to move without much space because of the fact that the majority of items that hinder movement have been squished up the main forklift body in their design.

These forklifts have a weakness in that they are quite slow. These forklifts will not cut it if you need it to transport goods across large distances. This issue could be easily solved if you also have access to a regular lift truck. Several businesses prefer to use the narrow aisle forklift to move the load to a central location. These things are then handed off to a regular forklift which would take it the bulk of the distance. Typically, narrow aisle forklifts are unable to move as much weight so they are only effective for loads which are small.

How to Drive a Forklift Truck
An industrial powered lift truck or a forklift operates on the same principal as your standard automobile. It has brakes, a steering wheel and an accelerator and also requires some good hand-eye coordination to operate and requires concentration. The forklift can raise loads that weigh several tons up to heights of 24 feet or higher. They are able to operate in very narrow confines. using a lift truck requires additional expertise and training to be able to run efficiently and smoothly.
