End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are normally less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent option for applications which require regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus utilized by a variety of businesses which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a way which is safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The blades additionally have a hydraulic setup that allows the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
